No. Admittance into MCAA follows the rules and standards of the Alabama Public Charter School Commission.
How much funding does MCAA have to get started?
MCAA has $2 Million in start-up funding thanks to several grants from local foundations and access to an additional line of credit.
Does MCAA have a building?
MCAA has located a building in Homewood, AL. We have secured an MOU with the developer and a long-term lease will be signed now that MCAA has secured their charter.
Who is the principal of MCAA?
Dr. Mike Wilson is the founding principal of MCAA. He is a long time educator and has been awarded principal of the year from his work at Glen Iris Elementary.
What is the recruitment/acceptance process for students?
